Hello! I am an independent business owner seeking 1-2 additional swim instructors for the summer in the Buffalo area. Buffalo Swim Academy is a mobile swim instruction company in its fourth summer (https://www.buffaloswimacademy.com/). Buffalo Swim Academy strives to teach each child to independently swim or float by the end of the summer. Kids we teach range in age from 9 months-12 years old. Our lesson program is a great mix of water acclimation and survival-style swim lessons! We have a great rapport amongst many families in the Buffalo area for teaching kids quickly and effectively and I look forward to maintaining this!

I am looking for an experienced swim instructor who is interested in making their own schedule (very flexible), with the ability to take on additional clients as needed. Hours and days worked can range, as we have enough clients to support as many lessons as instructors would be willing to take on. Buffalo Swim Academy is a mobile business, meaning you would travel to family pools around the Buffalo area (Northtowns and Southtowns).

This position would be ideal for a younger swim instructor who wants to work independently to develop their lesson instruction skills, with oversight and scheduling provided by our company owner! It would be perfect for someone looking to supplement their hours working at another facility. You would be developing individual relationships with families and structuring your own lessons within our company goals.

I am looking for someone who has up-to-date lifeguard, CPR/AED/First Aid certifications, and WSI certification is a plus but not necessary. Preferably someone with experience teaching lessons, but I am willing to train the right candidate! This individual must be very personable and have excellent communication skills, as you will be traveling to each family independently. Pay is very competitive :)
